A body moves through space and time. It's not his home.
He lives in third-person. He sees himself from himself, disconnected.
This being is unrecognisable to him.
The light fades from his eyes.
A flame, extinguished.
He wants to live, not just survive.
Six years ago, he started transitioning. He let go of who he thought he was supposed to be, igniting who he is at the core.
Navigating through the oceans of fear and uncertainty, he found himself and his people.
Alive and euphoric. His soul tasted it, and wanted more.
His reflection becomes less foreign. He smiles with joy, not pain and dysphoria. Restrictions on himself, lifted.
Living within his body becomes freeing, not entrapping. He loves, laughs, cries, dives headfirst into novelty, takes risks, witnesses his inner child roam and lives everyday as if it's his last.
He is a universe of experiences, memories, emotions, questions, answers, untold stories and rich history. An ever-evolving story being written.
His name is Lev; lionheartlev.

Trans and gender diverse people have history and stories to be heard and understood, not feared. Knowledge and allyship can be built daily, not just during one week a year. Our stories need to be kept alive in a world of constant erasure, and everyone can play a part in fuelling the campfire.
